The short version

1. Information we collect
We collect information you give us when you create an account (name, email, company), information about how you use Sitewise, and the content you connect to train your agent.
- Account details and billing information
- Website pages, files and Q&A you add as sources
- Conversations between your visitors and your agent
- Usage data such as log-ins, clicks and device information
2. How we use information
We use information to provide and improve Sitewise, to keep it secure, and to communicate with you about your account. We do not use your content or your visitors' conversations to train models for other customers.
3. Visitor data
When a visitor chats with your agent, you are the data controller and Sitewise acts as your processor. Visitors' personal data is processed only on your instructions, as described in our Data Processing Addendum.
5. Security and retention
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. We keep conversation data for as long as your retention setting allows (90 days by default) and delete it within 30 days of account closure.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, and to object to certain processing. Contact privacy@sitewise.ai to exercise these rights.
